Seasoned martial arts actor Marc Ma’s balls-to-the-wall directorial debut is an action-packed opus of hyperbolic midnight cinema influences. Channeling both the sleazy exploitation and "heroic bloodshed" stylings of classic 80’s and 90’s Chinatown grindhouse fare, the stage is set when an evil conglomerate is threatened by a lone-wolf assassin out for vengeance. In a fictional Southeast Asian country, the Hong Tai group profits from human trafficking while its leader is poised for local governance. But when a mysterious vigilante (Nick Cheung) kidnaps the boss’ daughter and wreaks bloody havoc on the domineering organization, dreadful secrets are revealed and all hell breaks loose.
